Refund Policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

This policy explains when Indian Beans Ltd will refund subscription fees. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Summary

  • 14-day free trial, no card needed.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
  • Cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Annual plans: unused whole months refunded after the first 30 days.

Free trial

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. No payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund. If you don’t subscribe, your account is simply paused.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy, you can ask for a full refund of your first subscription payment within 30 days of that payment, on monthly or yearly billing. No questions asked. The guarantee applies once per customer organisation.

Monthly plans

After the first 30 days, monthly fees are not refundable. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for. You won’t be charged again.

Yearly plans

If you cancel a yearly plan after the first 30 days, we refund the unused whole months left in your term. Because yearly billing includes a 20% discount, months already used are recalculated at the monthly price before the refund is worked out.

Example: 10 users on Growth paid $3,720 for the year. After 4 months they cancel. Months used: 4 × $39 × 10 = $1,560. Refund: $3,720 − $1,560 = $2,160.

Plan changes

Upgrades are charged pro rata straight away. Downgrades and removed users take effect at the next billing date, and we don’t refund the difference for the current period.

Refunds by payment method

Payments on Indian Beans are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as our Merchant of Record. All refunds are issued back to the original payment method — we can’t redirect a refund to a different account, card or wallet, nor can we pay it out as a bank transfer when the original payment was a wallet (regulators treat that as money-laundering risk).

Processing times after we approve a refund:

  • KakaoPay — refund is credited back to your KakaoPay balance (or the funding source you used to top it up) typically within 3–5 business days. If the original KakaoPay transaction was funded by a Korean bank card, the refund may take an additional 2–3 business days to settle on your card statement, per Kakao Pay Corp.’s own rules. If your KakaoPay account has been closed since the original payment, Kakao Pay holds the refund for you to claim — contact Kakao Pay support with the Paddle transaction reference we’ll give you.
  • Debit & credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) — 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • PayPal — usually within 24 hours to your PayPal balance.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay — same timing as the underlying card.
  • Alipay, iDEAL and other wallets — 3–10 business days depending on the wallet’s own refund rules.

If the full refund timing elapses and you still don’t see the money, email billing@indianbeans.com and we’ll trace it with Paddle.

When refunds don’t apply

  • Accounts suspended or closed for breaching our Terms of Service.
  • Billing periods that have already ended (apart from the 30-day guarantee).
  • Bank charges or currency conversion fees charged by your card provider.

Billing mistakes

If we charged you by mistake — for example twice, or after you cancelled — we will refund the full incorrect amount, whenever you tell us.

How to ask for a refund

Email billing@indianbeans.com from your account email with your company name and invoice number. We reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method in the currency of the original transaction — see Refunds by payment method above for processing times.
